Soma is a management consultant focusing on coaching, business management and accounting. She currently also acts as a learning facilitator and has completed the Leadership Coaching Academy with The People Business Group.
Soma is a founding member of Hippotree (Pty) Ltd, a company of positive deviants that specialises in the integration of learning curricula, the design and implementation of learning programmes and the writing of case studies. The company also matches executives to companies that need temporary skills solutions.
Soma is co-founder of a consulting company called Dcisio Consulting specialising in management consulting focusing on organisational behaviour, strategy development, project management, and institution building.
Soma spent the first part of her career in management positions in a number of financial services organisations, before moving into a senior financial management role in a highly successful international Internet business. Since leaving to complete her MBA, and help found Hippotree and Dcisio, Soma has immersed herself deeply into the field of social network analysis, which also formed the basis of her MBA thesis.
She is energetic and driven to achieve the highest standards of excellence. She enjoys working with people especially empowering them to achieve to their full potential. She is passionate about South Africa and would love to make a contribution towards the successful future of the country.
