Desray is a Management Consultant, Learning Integrator and Executive Personal & Leadership Coach and facilitator. She is currently a part time lecturer at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) and employed as a consultant by The People Business Group, having completed the Coaching Academy.
She is a founding member of Hippotree Consulting (Pty) Ltd, a company of positive deviants that specialises in the integration of learning curricula, the design and implementation of learning programmes and the writing of case studies. The company also matches executives to companies that need temporary skills solutions.
She has operated in both corporate environments and as an entrepreneur. Her 15 years of corporate IT (technical and management) experience formed a solid foundation from which she has launched and sold several start up companies.
Her MBA research report focused on women executives in South African corporates paying particular attention to the reasons they terminate their employment.
She is a generalist whose ability to adopt a systems-thinking approach to most situations, allows her to gain insight into the cause of problems and situations. Her wide area of exposure lends her a broad base of expertise and enables her to facilitate at Senior & Executive levels with ease.
